    Do You Know A Good Opportunity?

    Filed under: Easy Ebay Secrets;

    How do you know when an opportunity is a good opportunity when it presents itself? Does it slap you around the face and say “Look At Me, I’m Your Ticket To Whatever You Want”? Or is it someone who offers you such a great job and pays you a substantial amount of money without you having to sign any contracts, therefore risking nothing? To my knowledge, nothing’s that simple.

    In my opinion, there is an opportunity for everyone to better themselves financially, even in this economic crisis. knowing what it is the best opportunity may not be all that hard. Information is everywhere and readily available, it’s up to you to check them all out.

    I’ve personally done a few opportunities, Amway, Euphony and Planline to name a few. Fourteen years ago I tried Amway for a couple of years, going to meetings, talking to people about the opportunity and trying to sell products. It was a great opportunity, I just wasn’t very good at it and I was overwhelmed with the amount of products I had to get to know.

    Euphony was somewhat different when it came to the products, I only had to worry about one, a telephone service. Euphony was a company which rivalled BT and was the first ever phone company to introduce free local calls. The calls were cheaper than BT beyond the free calls whether it was local, national or international. The business plan was similar to Amway’s but again, weren’t very good at it. Now there was one incident, I’d like to share with you. I approached one of my work colleagues at the time about the Euphony service, bought proof that it saves money and with no contracts to commit to, I thought he’d at least look into it. However, despite the fact I could help him save £5 or more on a monthly basis,he had a big bill. He refused because I could earn a 2% commission from Euphony for his bill. Two pence in every pound is not a great deal but it must have been to him for refusing to save over £60 a year.

    But how do we know when an opportunity is good? I think most realise when an opportunity’s good is when it’s too late. However, one opportunity I’ve ignored for so long, is Ebay. Why? I always assumed ebay was a marketplace for individuals to sell off personal items they no longer want and for High Street shops to set up an online store. How wrong was I? Perhaps if I looked into this in more detail before Amway and other network marketing businesses, I could of saved myself time, money and in some cases friends.

    What can I say about ebay? Well it’s a ready made website, it attracts the most traffic on the net and you can sell virtually anything, as long as you stick to ebay rules. You can start on a low budget and work your way up. Nobody has to know you, just be honest with what you’re selling and build up good feedback. It’s easy to learn what to do even a child could do it. What more could you ask for?
